About Peter Friedel

A resident of Olive, I was born and raised locally and attended the Onteora school district where both of my parents were teachers. I’m a husband and father of two. My career is in sales management, and I fully understand the real need to create better-paying jobs in our community.

I’ve served in many community organizations and boards, including the Olive Town Council, as well as an Olive volunteer EMT and for the Olive Fire Department. I’ve also been a member of Catskills Watershed Towns Board.

I want our area to not just be a beautiful place to visit, but also live, thrive and prosper for all of us and future generations.
